Hotel Spa Villalba (Adults Only) - Vilaflor

We encountered a disappointing dinner experience. The evening meal was too pricey for the quality, and my steak was undercooked despite my request for it to be well done. The reception staff sometimes seemed unwelcoming and the check-in process was quite lengthy.

Quietly and beautifully situated, the hotel invites to make walks in the mountainous region and in El Teide natural park. It offers all kinds of possible relaxation in the Spa. Large rooms, nicely decorated, kept perfectly clean. Very good breakfast and diner. Can recommend to all.

Restaurante la vendimia served dishes within 100 feet off the hotel. We liked the fact that we chose spa villalba. Property location was within short walking distance to iglesia de san pedro. The pool was a bonus for relaxing.

A serene escape in nature

Woke up to the smell of fresh pine in our spacious Junior Suite Garden View. The wellness area was a great way to unwind after a day of exploring.

The evening meals varied in quality. One night, my steak was undercooked, disappointing given the price. The need for a car limited our dining options outside the hotel.

The pool area is lovely too. Generous sized and airy room with view on the garden. Stunning location, very nice area.

The hotel is set near Vilaflor which is a beautiful area! The hotel is so peaceful it is perfect for getting away and relaxing. Either round by the pool or from your veranda watching the little lizzards and kestrels.

Because you are in such a lovely quiet area there is nowhere really to go. You are at the mercy of the hotel. However for one or two nights it is ideal as you have the use of all the spa facilities. This is by no means a complaint just a warning for people who like to explore.

Had a sweet as week here! The spa's heated pool was fantastic, but the dinner options were pretty average, eh? Still, the staff were super chill and friendly!

We did not want to leave there and would happily go back again, truly enjoyed the hotel. The place was quiet and fabulous and restaurant was NICE. The staff were very nice people at Reception and Management, and location was marvellous. Also, it was just a pleasant stroll away from Church of Saint Peter. The restaurant served variety of meals for breakfast.

Unusually full friendly briefing from the receptionist - no paper in the room needed! Very large rooms, huge bathroom, big terrace with decent (but not amazing) view. Surprise was the large well equipped spa which was free to us.Good Breakfast buffet with enough variety for a few days. Evening meal also good with options to eat in the town. Overall good value.

The spa makes the whole hotel smell of damp pool! Poor television choice, only CNN in English. Somewhat short of frills for 4 star but the value compensated.

The best and worst parts

The staff were friendly and accommodating and the spa facilities were pleasant after our walks. Enjoyed the lovely lounge area which contributed to a relaxing atmosphere.

The evening meals varied in quality some dishes missed the mark and the decor felt slightly dated.

The Hotel Spa Villalba was a rum start. Very nice staff awaited us at the arriving. The hotel is in the nature and it's very nice to hang outside and enjoy the fresh air. Especially the restaurant surprised us as every meal was excellent.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay! So relaxing and tranquil, such an inviting atmosphere.

Nice hotel, very friendly and helpfull staff. Location is beautiful on the outskirts of the charming mounten village of Vilaflor on an altitude of 1500 meters (4500 feet), which make a trip to the amazing vulcano El Teide relativly easy. The spa of the hotel is wonderfull with friendly and professional staff. The only downside is that the swimming pool is not heated. The (standard) room is big, comfortable and well maintained with a large bathroom and balcony.

The only downside of this hotel is the kitchen. The breakfast is simple and every day the same. Quality of the breakfast is good however, with fresh bread, but not with fresh fruits. The breakfast staff is very kind and helpfull. However, I advice you not to go there for dinner. I think the cheff laks basic cooking skills. The tempura was very fatty and the fish (salmon) was very overcooked. I was supposed to get risotto with the fish, but got very overcooked broccoli, carrots and colliflower. The broccoli was so overcooked, that everything around my table smelled of cabbage! Better spend less money for much better food in the village.

Just an excellent fit for a weekend stopover in Vilaflor with good value for price. The heated pool was perfect for unwinding after a long day exploring the area. Make sure to take a stroll around the peaceful grounds for some great views.
